Setting up your business in Argentina
Establishing a Company in Argentina
Investors have three options for setting up a business in Argentina: (1) establish a foreign branch office; (2) acquire ownership interests in an existing company; or (3) create a new company.
(1) Establishing a foreign branch office does not imply the creation of a new legal entity. Even though the branch must be registered with the Registry of Companies, the laws governing its existence and validity are primarily the laws of the company's home country. The branch must be managed by a legal representative vested with broad administrative and judicial authority. The assets of the entire foreign business are subject to liability.
